Pregnant rats need pickles and ice cream (with whipped cream on top).
I'm sure you know the stereotype. Mother-to-be sends hubby out at 4:00 a.m. for pickles and ice cream. Well,
pregnant rats need this kind of fixation catered to as well. So they don't really care for pickles, you can bet they'll be
right on top of that ice cream, but for a less messy mess, may we, at RatRaisins, Inc. recommend whipped cream out of a
can? It tends not to melt, smaller portions are possible, and it fills their need for a quick fatty fix.
Your pregnant rat-mom will eat more than you ever imagined possible. Make sure she has plenty of tasty nutritious lab
blocks in addition to her daily whipped cream supplement. Also think of her when you have some tasty left-over chicken or
hamburger or macaroni and cheese or, well, just about anything high in protein and/or fat.
One last important purchase that, fortunately, you don't have to pick up at 4:00 am - Iams dry kitten chow. It's
great for mom during her pregnancy and great for boosting the health of little junior when he's reading to start nibbling on
something other than mom's breast!
